An update from the last post, Joan knows my brother-in-law and they used to be colleagues. So they caught up after CNY for lunch and Joan was so nice to pass me more stuff. It was like christmas once again! haha...

Look at the amount of pattern papers she gave me!

She also gave me this dry embossing alpha sets because she now owns a lovely Big Shot machine. *Envious*

Of all the many things, i picked out these 4 items that i want to talk about.
Top Left: YES!! MORE DOILIES! She was so nice to pass me more of each size so i didn't have to head down to SKP and get one big pack of 500 and have a headache on how to keep them. LOL!
Top Right: A bag of GLITTERED Die-cuts. oh my goodness.... it looks so beautiful but so scary! To be honest, i didn't take it out of the bag. LOL! I don't dare to touch because i am afraid of glitters raining down. =/
Bottom Left: Tags, die-cut journal tags and journal stickers are my current "wants" too becuase i don't have a die-cut machine so i either cut them myself or....... buy them. hehe.
Bottom Right: My eyes lit up the moment i saw the Colorbox Chalk ink! They were all brand new so i haven't got a chance to open them up and try. I hope the brown is dark enough because i'm actually looking for brown inks.

With the 2 big stash that she gave me plus more Diaso hauls i did myself, i found myself not having enough boxes to fit them. So i specially went to Diaso (yes, again) and Giant last night to buy zip lock bags and containers with wheels to reorganize everything. To be honest, i used to only have a Paper Market bag full of thickers, probably 20 pieces of 12x12 papers, 1 A4 box of trims/ribbons, 1 A4 box of emblishments etc.. but it has since grown alot with the numerous 40% and 60% sales that LSS had end of last year.

Joke: Joan text me the night before meeting my brother-in-law to let me know that the bag would be heavy. So i texted my brother-in-law and told him that i will treat him a cup of coffee since he helped me carry it. The next day after he met Joan, he texted me jokingly and said "wah! very heavy lehs. now you must treat me ONE BIG POT of coffee!" LOL!!

Dollar Stores

Leanne does amazing altered projects with trims and sprays. She has lots of DIY videos and i learn making beaded sprays from her too! Anyway, the point of me sharing this haul video is.......... CAN SINGAPORE HAVE FREAKING MORE $2 STORES LIKE DIASO?!!!!!!

*shuts*

Super duper envious whenever i see Americans shop at their Dollar stores or Dollar sections in Micheal's. Their Dollar is appx our $2 diaso store but they have freaking awesome and cool products which i seldom see in Diaso. Not that Diaso has nothing, BUT I WISH FOR MORE CHOICES! Please bring some Dollar Stores over to Singapore, pleaseeeee......?

However, if there is more such Diaso stores around in Singapore.......... i think i will need to sign up for shopaholic rehab classes at the end. Diaso is already sucking quite abit of my money. Can't imagine if i see the same stuffs mentioned in the video selling for $2............... =O

Lunar New Year

Happy Lunar New Year! The Chinese New Year is 15 days long, so technically i'm not late in greeting you guys! haha.. I've spent the past one week eating all the snacks and drinking alot of herbal tea to prevent myself from losing my voice! I love all the snacks in my house this year! Amazing~~ One lucky thing is that my company has given us a full week of rest and i spent the whole week hanging out with all my different group of friends, catching up, eating and gambling.

Cute Title

This is one of the cutest titles i have thought of so far. This birthday card was made for my dearest friend, Qiuting, whom i have known so long but still didn't know what present to get for her. However, i know she appreciates every card i have made for her. So i set out to make a card first then think about the present later. Choose a favourite Penny Black stamp and started coloring it. As i colored, it suddenly amused me that the character looked like it was trying to squeeze itself into the box. So a title suddenly popped up and i immediately jotted it down! "HOW I WISH I COULD WRAP MYSELF UP FOR U." However.............. while stamping the alphabets... i missed out up and went for "2u" instead. Anyway, the meaning is there!

I've got to admit that i really love Ranger's stickers because i have always had a love hate relationship with glitter stuff. I like the blings but i hate the ones that will keep dropping and i end up having some blings on my face and stubborn ones on my hands that can't seem to wash off. But Ranger's stickers are super blinged and they definitely won't fall all over the place! Cheers to that!

Scrap Loots

Received this stack of goodies from Joan who posted on Made With Love Forum saying that she is giving away some of her scrap stuff because she no longer uses them. I had no idea what she would be giving away but i decided to PM her because i didn't mind having more supplies in my stash to work with. I understand it will be painful to throw away scrapbooking supplies if you don't need them and are not really appropriate to be given away too. When I met her, i was so shocked at the amount of 12x12 papers she gave away. There were a few duplicates but they were all glittered - So they are certainly not cheap. I was so happy because to be honest, i don't have alot of 12x12 papers because i only buy them when i want/need to do a layout.

Then i started to look at every single paper and there was a stack of paper packed in a plastic. So i opened it up and smaller items started to fall out. Guess what, there were more!!

A few tags, stickers and diecut butterflies plus buttons.

DOLLIES!! i was SO SO SO excited when i saw them. I actually told myself to use them sparingly because there were only a few. But i decided to text Joan to ask where she got them. hahaha! Thank goodness she remember... get them at SKP and its a pack of about 500 at a real cheap price. I believe it definitely beats buying from our LSS. ;)

After adding her on FB, then i found out she was my Jie-Fu's ex-colleague. haha.. what a small world.

Thanks Joan! You really made my day!

I've decorated this photo tray since MONTHS ago and i've already decided which 2 of 21st birthday photos i wanna use already but i've been waiting SO LONG for my bro to edit the photos and print them out for me. Okay, the story is..... He was in USA for internship during my 21st so he isn't in any of the family photos. So, we have decided to ask him to crop himself and insert himself into the family photo so it will look complete. Apparently, i've been waiting for MONTHS... getting on my nerves now because I don't like it to be lying around in my room and i want to display in my living room so i can "hao lian" during Chinese New Year. *strolling around*

Marie's Wedding

Made a wedding ang bao instead of using a traditional one because traditional ones are a little boring and my ang bao money wasn't very big either. =X

Love the flower trims i bought at a fabric stall and she sold the "netting" too. Totally have the wedding gown "feel". hehe..

As usual, the spray is handmade. The flowers are from Prima, glittered with Stickers. The smaller purple flowers are actually solids and were bought from some handicraft shop near my office. Was a good find but abit expensive for my liking. But i really love how everything went well together.

First time i sat so near to the door because dear bf was the videographer of the night so he had to have "easy" access. Anyway, it was a nice experience cause i get to see the "door open" part. hehehe..

Wedding favours from the hotel. We ended up using the cups as shot glasses for the after party. LOL.

bf looked like a school kid with a school bag but that is actually his camera strip! And that tie adds on to the attire. As usual, my hands are shaking as i attempt to camwhore.

Second walk-in in her night dress which was so pretty because the red and black fitted so well!

Was a petty that i couldn't stay over because i had work the next day. I've known them for about 3-4years and we've been on holidays and parties together. Now i am glad that they are happily married. :)

My take on Sketch Along Tuesday Sketch #31 hosted by Frosted design. Love the Bo Bunny "Island mist" paper because the blue is so calm and cooling.

This is the sketch provided.

Hello Kitty Polariods taken with Yingxuan and Jiaxin when we randomly decided to meet up for dinner. It is the first time that just 3 of us meet for dinner even though we have known each other for so long.

Titled "So Cute!" because i told them i didn't like Hello Kitty but whenever the polariod came out and i screamed "So Cute!" it meant that every other doodle on the polariod was cute EXCEPT hello kitty. haha.. So they claim i am bias towards hello kitty. LOL. "So Cute" alphas are by AC Thickers and the others are by Prima's Tiny Alphas.

Instead of our usual favourite restaurant "Sushi Tei", I suggested to go for 2Day1Night Soju Bang korean BBQ buffet. Still love the place even though they had raised the price slightly. There are more spaces now too. The paper used is Basic Grey "Kioshi" paper pad and i bought a dater stamper so i could easily stamp the dates of the outings when i scrap.

I went into my LSS the last time and saw a bag of transparent buttons by "bag-O-buttons" and i immediately grabbed it because i like the idea that i can ink it to whatever color i want. So this time round, i inked it with Ranger's "Sail Boat Blue" and "Pearl" alcohol inks. Then threaded it to complete the look.

Inspired by a youtube user "LuvLeeScrappin", i made my own flower or should i say bead spray. She made a video on the technique and her projects are freaking fabulous. You can also check out her blog. Flowers are by Prima.

I also punched out a MS Monarch Butterfly and added a few beads in the middle to make the butterfly more "alive". Haha... the antennas are abit messy because i can't get a hang of it twisting it in rounds/swirls/spiral, whatever u call it~~ Will keep trying!

For this LO, i also used Washi Tapes which i really seldom use them because i am always too lazy to take them out. I also bought 2 AC Border Punch to try when they were released at my LSS. I've got to say, it is really more convenient than other punches. If you don't know what i mean, i'll share in my next entry! ;)

So Loved

Met my Darling Boy for dinner just now and we decided to skip movie after that because i was feeling too tired. We walked around and as usual, whenever i see Elmo, i will walk into the store to play with it for awhile. Today i saw a very very cute elmo! Everytime when you press on it's tummy, it will sing a note of twinkle twinkle little star. hahaha! Super cute. However, i was telling my bf that it would be so troublesome for me whenever i wanna open its mouth. lol! I still miss the one that i saw at Orchard Central that time......He came over my place and gave me a foot massage! It felt soooooooo shiok! Totally felt recharged after that. It kinda felt like he "shaped" my feet back after i have worn heels the whole day. How should i describe......? It was like my feet felt like a pancake and he molded it back to "round" LOL. Anyway, i feel so loved because i had a stinky feet. =XThank you bf.

In a corner

So work has started and i love my desk because i am sitting in a corner with my computer facing NO-ONE! Not that i am doing something sneaky during working hours but at least i can catch up on my google reads during lunch-ins. hehe.. And the other advantage is the bird's eye view on my colleague's desk. *sneaky* Currently i am pretty satisfied with my work because i am just reading my past records and filing them or recording them. Ok lar, can be considered seng-nang for the time being! Till then, ciao!

More Presents

For my love one. ;)

Packed a few boxes of chocolates as a small token of gift exchange with my uni friends. There were Kisses, Mars bar and Toblerone chocolates. All the sweetest chocolates for my sweetest friends!

In exchange, one of the present i got was diabetic-friendly chocolates! I and my marketing group members did our final semester project on Cacao7 and the lady boss still remembers us when my friend went to buy chocolates from her. haha.. i totally laugh out loud when he gave us the box of chocolates. It wasn't a nightmare but more like a funny moment. Gonna miss those days with them.

Anyway, its 2012 already and i have many things left undone before i start work on Tuesday. The number 1 problem is: I haven't pack my working clothes out of the other wardrobe to put in my current one. =/

I really hope 2012 will be as good as 2011. ;)

Christmas 2011

This year's Christmas is by far the best I've ever had because presents were all practical, useful and i attended majority of the traditional xmas parties (other than Marie's house party). These are all the presents i received this year and majority came from my relatives. I'm going to totally rock the elmo socks this chinese new year! haha...

This year, the NPvball clique held our 4th (3 years consecutive) xmas party together at Yingxuan's house. That is famous Penny sniffing out the presents before the clock strikes 12mn!

We had bbq food this year and everything was so yummy! We had tons of chips to munch on after that too!

Last year, we altered photo frames for everyone who attended. This year, I and yingxuan decided to make a card holder to store the photos printed on that night. So on the spot, we printed the group photos and everyone had a piece of Polaroid photo to take home too!

Plus we inserted a tag to remind everyone that they attended the 2011 party!

I guess the funniest thing that happened that night was us trying to remember if we had celebrated in 2009. We went to the extend of asking yingxuan to dig out her Hard-disk to see if there were any photos. And indeed, there were a few! ALL THE GUYS WERE BOTAK and we played heart attack that year!

Many years have passed and we are starting to lose our happy memories. Let's hope we will remember what happened this year when christmas comes in 2012. =)

Meowy Christmas

It's a Meowy Christmas when i receive a customise order from my sister's colleague to make 2 cards for her cat lover friends. Really had no cats stamp in my stash so i stole a few images off the net. Credits to google search images! I'm glad her colleague liked it. :)

First try on Tim Holtz Winter distress ink series: Evergreen Bough. It is really a very very nice color. I don't have such a sweet green in my stash and it kinda look like dark mint color... The back of the sentiment was tied with doodlebug twine.

Fiona's Wedding

It's been a long time since i attended a wedding and this is my first wedding of a friend that i'm attending.

Their theme was vintage and tiffany blue.

Pan Pacific Ballroom.

So she had a typewriter for guest to type their message or they could write on vintage postcards that she had prepared. The postcards were soooooo pretty!! I kept running my fingers through the stack of cards to find the prettiest one.. But they were all so pretty! Wish i could have taken a few home to keep. =X

Their indoor photoshoot album was so cute too. One of the scene was in some vintage old mama-shop setting. And they were wearing geeky spects and holding colorful lollipops. CUTE!

They had a live band at the corner singing all the love songs through the night and i am SO GOING TO TAKE THE FREAKING SONG LIST! Every single songs were so nice.

The emcee was one of my friend, Vincent. I think he really did very well. Though it really felt like i was listening to a chinese radio station. LOL.

It was really an honour to be invited and i got one of the best seats! haha.. i sat next to the VIP table right at the front!

Every guest will always have a gift and i always dread those that give salt & pepper bottles, i rather receive chocolates. But this time round, this box contains something really cute and useful!

Every spoon has a quote and they really bring a smile on my face.

There was a "special" photographer that night who took photos and printed them into card-size pictures to give us. Every one in the photo will get one copy and it was a nice way to remember the night.

This is the wedding gift that Flora did for her sister, Fiona. Love the color on the frame! I really didn't help much because i only lend her my place to do the shadow frame and let her disturb me. =p

Fiona's a wedding planner and this wedding is definitely an extraordinary one with many hardwork put in! Congratulations Fiona!

Xmas Shadow Box Card

I walked into Kinokuniya the other day and found myself standing infront of the crafting magazines. I didn't know which magazine to purchase so for the first time i purchased "Crafts Beautiful" magazine from UK. After reading, i still prefer learning my techniques via Youtube but magazines are a better companion on public transport. Anyway, i flipped open and i am glad i found a useful technique called "Shadow Box Card" and i insistently wanted to attempt the idea. And here i am with my first shadow box card! I really love it. Can't bear to give it away this xmas though! haha..

Anyway, i used this card to participate in the Maple Treehouse Xmas Challenge because the prizes are too delicious for me to miss out! So be nice and vote for my work, can? Would really appreciate it! More prizes won means i will make more layouts without spending so much! ;)

M3H sells very pretty colors flat pearls and i decided to use some of the pearls for my pretty tree. Plus i specially bought their star blings for my all my xmas tree cards! Bf says "This tree is tall because it can touch the star."

Finally got my hands on this! This is the smaller Fiskers Stamp Press because the big one is really too big for my usage now. Anyway, i finally got the chance to stop by MapleTreeHouse store after one of my interview to take a look and it was neater and more comfortable than i expected! It was a walking distance from the MRT and it was situated on the 2nd level of a "Car-selling" place. Imagine there were uncles and smoking people looking at me when i was trying to find the store. =/ But the store itself was easy to walk around and good thing is, you can put down ur barang barangs and pick your items!

So i finally met Keefe whom i had exchanged a few emails before and i always thought it was a girl cause i pronounce the name as "Kee-fe". End up it was a guy and its pronounced as "Keefe", silencing the "f", something like "Keith". I really felt so embarrassed when i said "Kee-fe and Sylvia is not working today?" *Blush*

Anyway, he was really nice to share all the projects and best selling items in the store so i didn't have to think too long on the colors. The nice thing about visiting the store is that i get to see some items opened up because they have samples of it. He also answered alot of my questions and I am so thankful that i asked him about the MS circle cutter because he enlightened me that the MS website has reviews on their products!

So i've been looking for a circle cutter and i wanted to get this because it can cut circles as small as 1inch but the reviews online was....... terrible. =/ It isn't as simple as it seems when i watched youtube reviews and there were so many disappointment on the ms reviews.

The bigger circle cutter got better overall reviews but the smallest circle it could cut is 4inch, which is still abit too big for my liking. And someone on the ms review mentioned that the measurement knob will move when you are cutting the circle. Which makes some parts of ur circle 8inch while another side is 7 7/8inch. =/

So people out there, enlighten me on a circle cutter that can cut small circles about 1 or 2inch, that does not "glide around" when you are cutting and is easy to use.

My google reader recently has been soooooo yummy because all the major crafting brands are releasing new items to present in the upcoming CHA! And with so many releases and sneak previews, there are equally many giveaways as well!! Yum Yum! Check out Hero Arts new stamps and Lawn Fawn new "Love n Breakfast" stamp set!

Xmas Day 2

I bought pom pom trims weeks ago and couldn't figure out how to use them, until....... i saw an idea on a magazine! I think i did justice to the pom pom trims on this card. haha.. Anyway, I still can't get enough of Lawn Fawn Stamps. The ear muffles are too cute to resist and i always like wearing them when i am in cold country because i don't like the feeling that my ears are going to drop anytime! And of course, my wish is to build a snowman one day. :)

I forgot today is the 8th Dec and MapleTreeHouse was announcing their lucky winner for their Winter Distress Ink giveaway. So unknowingly, i searched for MapleTreeHouse on my Facebook and saw that Sandy has picked her lucky winner on her blog!

Wwwweeeeeee......!!! I'm the lucky one and i can't wait to try this 3 inks! It is my first time winning such a thing and i always believe i don't have such luck on lucky draws. I am really thankful that Sandy picked me and M3H had such a great giveaway! =D

For those who don't know about these 3 inks........ They are seasonal distress inks that do not have reinkers and will only be released during the season. Meaning, if the winter colors are sold out, you got to wait till next year!

God has been really kind to me this few days! Aside from winning the inks, I received 3 calls for interview in total within 2 days and they are all pretty good companies. All i hope is that i can ace the interviews! I've been to numerous interviews for Part Time or Temporary jobs but it is my first time for Full Time job. Securing an interview is like completing half of the journey to getting the job for real. Cheers!

Honey Bee

My first tag experiment! And i really love the background i made. Love the color from the distress inks! I had to bare in mind not to add too many chunky stuff on it because the tag was so light weight!

Another nickname for my bf is "Honey Bee" because his email has "bbeeee". I asked him before "Why are there so many Bs and Es?" and he said that when he was creating the email he typed "BbEeEe" not knowing that the caps will not exist! hahaha.. One of the cutest joke i've heard from him. So whenever i see a cute bee, i think of him and when i saw this stamp set, i couldn't resist not buying!

I achieved alot staying at home today on a Sunday. I finally caught up with majority of my youtube videos and sent out more resumes. I also took photos of the new xmas cards i made and uploaded on my facebook page. I also manage to read finish all the blogs and websites i am following. *phew* I feel i was deprived from using my computer the past few days! Haha!

Cheap shipping tags found at Popular thanks to Juanna and her great friend Cheryl! I went all the way down to Causeway Point during one of my free day to grab it because the popular near my place didn't have. I was expecting to find bigger size ones but don't have. Nevertheless, i am still happy with my loot because it is a good start for me to play with! I do know there are bigger ones selling at Taka Art Friend but they sell in a WHOLE BOX that probably have 100s of it for $33, i think. But it is wayyyyy too many for me to store or use. If anyone out there wants to get it, i want to share! Looking for the bigger one to put 4"x3" photo on it.

Okay, i am going to confess that i am a lazy 12x12 LO scrapper because i only scrap 12x12 when there is a challenge. Reason being, i am too lazy to crack my brain to think of a sketch and following a challenge sketch challenges me to go further. So, i followed this sketch to participate in the Made With Love Scrap This and That Challenge. I really like this sketch because we could use ANY manufacturer but had to make sure we had a heart shape accent in any form in the LO. To me, that's simple!

So here's my take! Picture taken during RMIT Annual Bash themed "Summer Daze". Very appreciative that bf was there to see the show and did not complaint that he was alone all night because all councillors were so busy with the program and i was busy hosting the sponsors at the VIP area.

The heart shaped accent is formed by stitching the middle of a ribbon that i had leftover. After stitching, i pull it tightly together forming a grungy trim. Afterwhich, i slowly glue it down in a heart shape form.

I used Crafters Workshop's flower template and misted it with bubblegum metallic Maya Mist to decorate the dotted background. Really love this mist color! The rest of the papers are from Me & My Big Ideas 8x8" Scrapbook Kit that i bought a few years ago but failed to use it until now. I'm glad that i used abit of my leftover or dusty stash i had to create this LO. *Claps*

Barbie Photo Shoot

It's the end of the year and all the photoshoots seems to be coming in. Boyfriend says he has alot of wedding projects pending and we are currently doing the Barbie photoshoot at Taka's Event Area. So I've started work today and will carry on for the next few weeks on random days to deal with kids dreaming to be Princess. I'm not complaining because some of the kids are really cute after having a makeover, a curly wig and a princess dress. It is just mentally exhausting......

Aside from freelance shooting, i'm also making xmas cards for my sister and intending to sell them if anyone are interested. At the same time, i can use up my stash! hahaha! more reasons to shop? =p

I'm also helping my friend do a wedding gift, so i'm twice busier than usual. Forgive me if there isn't new cards out for you guys to drool on. But i'll try my best by blogging fast and making more time to take photos of my work!

Painting Ribbon

Daiso just made me love them even more! Found tubes of paint in many colors and I decided to buy one home to try since I always buy white lace ribbons from daiso. And the bottle of paint really works very well plus v smooth and doesn't dry out in the cup very quickly. :) I simply love this color!

Parents are coming home tonight. *scrambling* must tidy up the house and wash the clothes b4 they get home. Haha!

ohhhhh myyyyy goooooodnesssss... i simply love Lawn Fawn Stamps! They are SO SO SO cute yet not childish. If i could, i would want to collect all their stamp sets. Adorable! Aside from owning "Frosty Friends", i now own "On the Bend", "Sophie's Sentiments", "Harold's ABCs Stamp Set" and "Quinn's ABCs Stamp Set".

When i was looking for it about 2-3weeks ago, i didn't see PM carrying the older collection. However, i went to Lawn Fawn's Website and saw an online SB store (On Cloud Nine) that i haven't seen before. So i went to their website and was very skeptical about it because their blog was kinda quiet, products were limited but the FB was very active though. So I decided to drop them an email and they replied after 2 hours, which is very prompt! Wasn't sure who i was "chatting" with on the other side and there was no number, just an email address for their store. But i went ahead and ask if they had the above mentioned stamp sets because it wasn't on their website. They were so nice to let me know they could order from Lawn Fawn and how long it would take for them to receive. And when there was a slight delay, they immediately emailed me to let me know. This is what i called good service. On top of that, it is free shipping and it came in bubble wrapped envelope too.

I'm so glad to open my mailbox today and see the package in it. Happy meal in the mailbox! love love love. I also bought few other items because they are pretty too. All items were not exceptionally cheap because most of the time i have 40% off at PM. However, it saves the time for me to search up and down and some items are always OOS in LSS. Snowman in a Globe

Here's another card I've made for this holiday! Really love Lawn Fawn stamps and i can use Ranger's Stickers to create a snowy effect without having glitters all over my table, hands and face! Apologies to the "bleeding" heart. The ink smeared while i was applying the stickers.

Parents went on a holiday and the house is quieter than usual. I'm staying home munching on my titbits, drinking a glass of wine, cooking with B, watching NCIS/CSI NY/Private Practice, Criminal Minds, Bones blar blar blar.... you get it lar! I'm a couch potato now. hahaha!

Of course, i am also creating an album of my 21st birthday and I'm using the DCW "Once Upon A Time" Paper collection! IT IS SO PRETTY!!!! I can't bear to cut them up or stick photos over it! However, "thou shalt not hoard". Ok, totally made that up impromptu!

I'm not saying i'm not actively finding a job though! Sent about 10plus resumes to companies that i think i will enjoy working at. I'm still sticking to my "higher than average" demand for salary until the day i feel that i had enough of sending resume or perhaps when a dream job opens, THEN i will consider reducing my expectations. As for now, i am not entirely jobless. I will be a freelance photographer for a photobooth event at Takashimaya this holiday and i am really looking forward to it! I'll be shooting kids, so the only thing i pray is that they are not nasty and mean. =/

Here's my take on Scrap with V's nov sketch challenge!

I love sketches with many photos options! Cause whenever there is a camwhore, all photos are pretty and i end up printing out all the pretty photos! haha..

Decided to use photos from my first date with B. This first date has always been very memorable and we always look back on that day. We always think back and say "What happens if i haven't ask him for a favor?" "What happens if that day he didn't turn up?" etc.. No one exactly knows our story but to sum it up, we were friends that were not close until the day when i looked him up for some help in my school work and that's when we started hanging out.

My level of "sick" has taken a step further. I guess i will seek the doc soon. The cough has been interrupting my sleep and appetite.

House hasn't been peaceful due to some issues with my dad and bro. As of now, they have "signed" a peace treaty so i hope all are calm. Totally gave me a headache when i was outside with B having dinner. Really sucks being in such situation.

Gonna go update my resume and send out to a few companies. Wish me luck!

Mummy, It's Over!!

Got this picture off Facebook. IT IS TOO CUTE TO RESIST. lol! Like what QT said, "we must have looked like this from 1.10 to 1.15pm today.*_*" And yes, i definitely look like this cause i couldn't finish all the questions on the Investment paper not because i didn't know but i probably had too much things to write and was so worried on the calculations. Sigh~ Investment paper is always a high failure rate paper. So, at least i know i am not going to fail. =D

Had a satisfying lunch with QT at JP and went to run some errands. My hairdresser was so nice because i wanted to get my fringe cut so urgently that i told him that if the waiting time is too long, i don't mind getting others to cut. And he came to me within 5min while making another lady wait for a moment to attend to me. SO SWEET! I guess i was coughing really badly. Yahhhhh, i'm still sick and not getting better. It's time to seek the doctor~

The first thing i got home was to tidy my table! I literally threw out all my sketch notes and piled all the books on the other cupboard at the side of my room and i threw away all my ink-less pens. Now, my table have only a crafting mat, crafting sheet and my stationaries. CLEANEST TABLE EVER! i promise i will take a photo for you in my next entry!

So this exam marks the end of my university life, hopefully all passes~ And i have to start job hunting soon! Time for me to head back to bed while its raining now!

Changes

Everyday at about 1 or 2pm, the sky will start to turn dark and the thunders will be heard. Next, the heavy rain will start pouring. I end up staying home and not going out for a few weeks. Except on days when i need to head to school to settle some stuff and attend my exams. Sigh~ 2 more papers and it will be all over.

Other than the crazy weather that is changing, my health is getting worst. I think its the weather causing it. One moment hot, one moment cold. Arghs! Having lots of phlegm in my chest causing me to have breathing difficulties.

If you had noticed, I've also changed the layout of my blog. Removed the tagboard because its getting irritating when i see people asking me to click on their ads or follow their blog back but the links are unavailable! HELLO~ if you want me to see your blog then give me a valid link. Then again, it might be some viral spam or something. Whatever it is, i've got my comments section and if you guys have anything to ask me - leave a comment.

Call me noob or something, i didn't know blogger has this "Reading List" thingy and i can follow website or blogspot urls. hahaha! Now it saves all my trouble. But too bad, i'm too lazy to re-enter all the links and display on my website. Unless there's like a direct widget that allows me to display my "reading list", if not i think i won't re-enter the whole list again.

After posting my last scrapbook haul, a few days later i received these in my mailbox. I had ordered together earlier but was delayed due to the shipment. All the Penny Black Stamps arrived in time for some cardmaking!

I used the letter background and stamped it with distress ink. Then the images were watercolored.

Had a mini birthday celebration for Evans last Saturday at his place after steamboat with the clique. Thanks to Eudora, I manage to taste cupcakes from "Twelve Cupcakes". Tried the Red velvet cupcake and i think its nice! Especially the cream above it. yum yum!!

Made the above card for him to store a short message. Love the new set of Penny Black Stamps i bought. This is from the Party Time collection. ;)

Hi guys! LOOK AT THE GOODIES ABOVE! Don't ask how much i spent in total cause i'm too shy to talk about it. BUT........ i'm really satisfied with it. These shall keep me going for making more Christmas cards.

The whole point of this post is that i SAVED ALOT even though there are a few negative thoughts along the way.

As you may know, there isn't alot of scrapbook stores in Singapore and the common ones like Paper Market and Made With Love have their prices marked up by ALOT! And i really mean alot because I'm going to share with you a website that i found. I am not doing an advertorial for them, but good things are worth sharing with friends, right?

Maple Tree House (M3h) houses the cheapest deal for scrapbooking items. Some items are pre-orders while some of them are available stocks. The pre-orders take about a month or 2. But its okay for me cause i can wait... and this time, i bought alot at a go so i was entitled free delivery to my doorstep at my destinated timeframe because they use a private courier company.

They were packed in bubblewrap envelope and when i opened it, it was like christmas to me! Except the fact that i burned a big hole in my pocket and i am still thinking of getting more stuff like the MS circle cutter! hehe.

Anyway, M3h provided an excellent customer service when i had so many questions! They answered all and it proved that they have excellent knowledge of their products. Thank you Keefe and Sylvia for all the tips.

I can't deny that some things are better to be bought after feeling and seeing in person but i don't like the idea of squeezing with people while i make comparisons and then i can't keep track of my expenses and have to carry the items home. So with the mentioned factors, i've decided that online shopping suits me better. UNLESS i need something urgently. Another plus point would be choosing the stamps. I like the idea of searching "birthday stamps" and have all the stamp sets appear infront of me instead of squirting up and down, opening drawers to find the right stamp sets.

On the website, there were so many deals here and there that i missed out their "50% off deal for every $45 spent" and i think i missed out ALOT of good stuff at that section. =( Makes me so sad because i could have gotten 6-8 items at 50% from that section! arghhhh.. careless me. I didn't see that section! There are so many pretty items in there!

I noticed that some items have increased in price since i last purchased them. But u can still save alot as compared to buying from a physical store out there. I do hope that M3h continue to maintain their low prices so i don't have to run around getting items.

Anyway, i had a little hard time with the courier company when i missed the knocking sound at my door and the phone call. So i called the person back requesting him to come back at night but when the clock stroked 9pm, no one was seen at my doorstep. Which kinda made me so angry because i could have gone out. Anyway, i called the person back and he totally forgot i called him in the afternoon, so he kept apologizing. I gave in and told him they could redeliver the next day between 8-10am. However, i'm not sure what went wrong because they delivered at 1130am instead. Argh! i had to wake up so early on a Saturday and sit by the boring TV to wait for them. Tried calling the toll-free hotline but no one answered. I checked the online tracking system and saw my parcel leave the branch only at 930am. Enough said - i don't know if i should blame myself for missing the delivery time or the courier company for screwing up. They had no feedback link on their website either.

BACK TO THE POINT...

Glossy Accents

Aqua Flo Brush (came in 3 brush sizes) - FYI, I had no prior experience in watercoloring.

Ranger's black diamond stickers - Look at the glitters!! so pretty and clustered together!

I bought this 6x6 paper pad at a very cheap price but no reviews on it because all papers are pretty to me. haha!

M3h is still growing and bringing more variety of items. Some stuff i look forward to would be their basic color cardstocks (e.g. from American Craft) because it is good for cardmaking or more paper pads or maybe Fiskers Punch series. oh yes, i'm eyeing on the Fiskers stamp press for my next haul. hehe~

I hope that after my exams or for my next month's haul, i can go down to their store to take a look and maybe have a chat with them since its not very far from my home. Till then, i hope you guys take care.

Real Steel

When I first caught the preview of this movie in the cinema, it totally attracted me. Not knowing what exactly it was - just knew it was some robot fighting show with humans controlling them... i went ahead to catch the movie.

Oh my my my... it surprised me so much that here i am, writing a post on it.

Never expected it to have a family element in the show by at the end of the credit role, Walt Disney played a part. Sooooooo... this movie is for the young and old.

Next, i recognize the female lead from Prison Break but i kept telling my partner, "who's that guy arh?! y he so familiar?". I've never remembered people's name in shows but just their face. So i was very sure "Hugh Jackman" is a man i've seen acting before, just that i don't know where!! Until the very last part of the movie where Hugh Jackman was asked to fight to control the robot and he was waving his punches up and down THEN I REALIZE HE IS WOLVERINE!!! omg....... i love wolverine since young.

So anyway, this movie surprised me very much. Especially the kid. Okay, maybe cause the preview didn't show much~ so guys out there, if you have the time - GO CATCH IT!

Knock Knock

Yes, *Knock Knock* Who's there? No-ones there....... I've been missing from Blogsphere because of many reasons. Example Twitter, School, Boyfriend, Laziness, Facebook etc etc etc..... And people seldom read blogs now! I guess when this entry goes up, no one notices too!

Anyway, i'm back here because there is a possibility that i am exploring and i would like to share a little. That's Scrapbooking.. Over the years, i bought alot of stuff from Papermarket, Made with Love and Spotlight. And i always use abit and forget about it after that. And if you are a singaporean, you would know that scrapbooking items here are seriously expensive. My bf always comment that it is WAY OVERPRICED. =(

And as I watch more youtube videos and hear some of the Americans say things like "you can get this at Walmart for about 2dollars..." then I start to grumble and hope i was living there. So as my items start to pile up from 1 box.. to 2 box... 3 boxes... and now the coming 4th box........ My bf says i should start doing cards again.... for people's birthday, christmas, Thank you cards etc! So i set a goal in mind and started sourcing for some essentials and i chanced upon a website. I found an e-shop that has cheap deal for scrapbooking items and i am super excited! Can't wait for all the items to arrive and have my hands dig in to it. I'll post a photo either here or on fb when its here. Think i've got to wait for a month cause most of the items i bought were pre-orders. =/

Here's a birthday card i made for my good friend, Flora. This is one of my prettiest project i've made and i am glad i made it because her Dad pass away a day later. Not sure if she felt my love, but this card was made to show her that her project mates love and care for her. Kinda like a reminder for her when she sees the card. She really made my uni life easier. As i was doing this card, my inspiration came from her goodness and love for flowers.

In about a week or so, i'll be celebrating my 3 years anniversary along with a killer school project that has to be submitted. Haven't planned both. =( But i hope i'll "submit" both with an Ace. haha..

Halloween AGM

Once again, this sem's AGM has a theme to it. Since we missed halloween due to exams, the excos brought it back during AGM. Not alot of people dressed up but those that did - they were pretty scary. So from the looks of it, I won the best dress along with another 2 girls and this scary makeup is thanks to Sarah bcos I told her to make me into the character found in nightmare before Christmas. Haha.. Got a fair bit of comments on facebook, telling me to take down. So... Are you having your nightmares before Xmas now?

What does it mean

What does a dream mean when you realize the characters inside are so random?

I woke up not remembering what exactly the storyline is but i remember who were involved. They became my friend from different period of my life.

1. Olivia - my primary school classmate. someone that i was very close with in my class. she is pretty much the only friend i kept in touch after graduating. years has pass and we are no longer talking anymore.

2. Yuyan - my secondary school classmate. Another friend whom i was close with in my class. She sits beside me during assembly and she plays sports like me. lost contact after graduating too so i really feel random for dreaming about her.

3. Yingxuan - my poly team mate. We knew each other's existence since secondary school but we didn't exchange words back then. Went into NP and got closer because of Jac and Sichyi. We were in the same school of business and tried out CCAs together before finalizing our decision with volleyball again. There is one great thing about this friendship because we STILL talk, just less often because she is in Australia.

Hmmm.. i don't always hang out or chat with my friends that i consider close with. i pretty much believe that close friends do not need to meet each other every week to consider close. or chat every week to become close.

Benefit Cosmetics

Hi everyone! I'm going on a holiday soon and I am wondering where i should buy my Benefit products. Firstly, i can get it online and have it sent to my bro's place in SF. Second, i can get it when i am at the Airport DFS. Lastly, i can get it in the Singapore departmental store. Have anyone of you bought Benefit products and can tell me what is the price like in Airport DFS or Singapore departmental store? Seriously need help~

I came to know about the product when i saw Eudora using it and i think it is quite amazing. It can bring out my nose bridge. Works like a highlighter. But if you guys have better brands to recommend, do let me know!

"the POREfessional" is a new product by benefit and although there are raving reviews on it, but "that gal" seems good too! Both are face primers and as i am typing this entry i found other primers that seems good too. Smashbox Photofinish and Clinique Pore Minimizer.

Sigh. The problem is i have quite big pores and i dont want to use so much foundation to cover it!

When Elmo grows up

Sesame street came to singapore last month and I got to catch it at indoor stadium!

It was a musical revolving around sesame street and I got a little disappointed cos I thought it would be more on Elmo. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed because I brought MY Elmo along. Haha.

There were alot of kids and it was so fun seeing them interacting with the characters. Those mascots could really dance in those heavy outfits.

Recollection

One of the greatest highlights during my 2 months holiday was the SIM RMIT Orientation Camp. I'm past that stage of being a freshie, so there i was - NOT a photographer or a Group Leader but a Game Master. Which was pretty boring because my game station was boring. But still, the overall rocked because the heavy downpour on the last day. We were all playing water bombs in the rain and kicking puddles of water at each other - like little kids.

This jacket is super cosy!

The whole marketing preparation robbed away quite a bit of my time and i had to attend meetings and go to work at the same time. Coming up next is the Annual Bash.

Party Animal with different group of friends but they were mainly my council mates.

Biggest group EVER, in the club. Plus i think that night's match was Argentina VS Germany.

Brother flew off a month plus ago to LA for some attachment program. He seems to be doing fine there and earning quite a bit. haha! No one's around to disturb me anymore. But we still skype often online.

Attended Isaac's and Edwin's Graduation and its been 1 year since i graduated! *thinking back* A normal day, just from a different perspective.

Sweeeeeeetieeeee pie came back for a short 3 weeks and i only manage to meet her ones cause partly our timings couldnt match! Hope she's all well and recharged back in Sydney. Gonna wait for donkey months before i see her again. SIGH! But it was a great night spent at H.V's Coffee Bean with Ben and Gin because we had the usual Gin the Joker.

Before i end off, I attended the Singapore Art Festival with Isaac and they displayed some fire display along boat quay. It was super hot! but i think some of the displays were really pretty.

Here i am, gonna sign off! Got to get my ass to school for 830 class. But on the happier note - I just had dinner with D.A.N last night and i FINALLY signed dataplan for my mobile line. LOL! It just means more twittering and online games for me! hehe.

Hello everyone! Life's been study, slack, study and work PLUS procrastinate. haha! I'm good at that especially when it comes to blogging and exam periods.

Finished my exams recently and thank God, i managed to quickly find a job with an attractive pay! Working at Boat Quay Dallas Bar & Restaurant and its a very nice place to dine in! I am glad that i can know more about alcohols and western food. plus their "fine dining" at level 2 is comfy max! The food is western fushion and their names are a bitch to remember. Not forgetting their pronunciation. -.-"

I saw a few fascinating things, such as the "sponge" used to wash the glasses. And then i went to 7-11 to buy cigarettes for customers a few times, and i manage to get tipped ones! Although its only $2 worth, but its my first time being tipped! =D And the restaurant plays very nice English songs, including R&B. no more those sleepy Japanese songs. haha.. The whole working style is causal and friendly.

Anyway, thanks R for the job. Now we are finally working together at the same place!

Other working, i've been hooked onto gaming. Allods to be specific. Quest game, somewhat like WOW. and there are great friends with play with. So i'm not bored when i roam around the map.

Its mashmellows in a sanitary packaging and its strawberry flavour. They even have the picture of a pad.

Next time i'm going to say "Did u bring extra mashmellows? Can i borrow one cause my period just came." =D

Anyway, going to Batam with my sisters in June. Its a 2D 1N thingy for us to go there relax and chat. I totally look forward to it cause we haven been on a holiday together before. *Gasping for air* I'm back! Back from all the school work that have been strangling me. Finally, one last assignment to hand in on Tues then the exam revision starts! Anyway, my month of March was also well defined by the group of crazy councilors. I played my part for my first event (Fear Factor SIM-RMIT Edition) by being a photographer. Its kinda my first time doing it alone so i was pretty scared. And i choose to use the 50mm lens to be different from the other photographer. Not all photos were good, but i've chosen a few to share with you guys.

P/S: Event was open to all SIM students, not only RMIT students. $300 worth of Capital Land Voucher was won!

I went over earlier before the event to see see look look but i ended up smelling more than looking. The smell of everything gross was super pungent. Gosh. This is Natto and i am not foreign to it but some of the contestant couldn't take it.

This is your blogger here, saying "hi!". I know i've cut down my frequency to blog cause my eyes are either glued to the TV watching CSI or i am doing my project.

Anyway, i have my 1st 2 test results out! So happy, both HD. The only time i got A in Poly was for my OIAP semester. So this 2 HDs are kinda my precious. But it is really true that you will feel pressure when you are studying for your next test and exam! Gosh! you just want to keep maintaining that grade. =/ I won't take my grades for granted cause i have to really thank Q and R. They are the ones who lend me their notes when i skip lecture to finish my other assignments. And they are the one who accompany me to study and do assignments. They are really my treasure in SIM. HAHA! 宝贝～～～～

In the month of March i also met up with D.A.N. sisters. So happy to see them! N went to Taiwan and bought us lovely things.. I have strawberry chocolate in condom packaging - super cute cause it shocked my sister and gave my jie-fu a good laugh! And above all, i have an extra present of Green tea Mochi. Its nice! but only 6 pieces instead, so its finished now!

a month plus has pass since sweetie pie went to Sydney and she just lost her phone. SIGH! she's always so careless. Luckily is just phone and not other important stuff like IC or passport. She seems to be doing great over there with her friends and i'm glad! She's cooking almost every now and then and i believe her stress in school work will overcome as the time pass.

I know i am very late for this post but i've just ended my VERY HECTIC FEBRUARY. And i am so glad that March has approached. Other than assignments, CNY and valentines day.... the other event was Yingxuan leaving for Sydney. Thanks to Huishan, i manage to meet the rest of the HY girls to send yx off at the airport early in the morning at 630am.

It was pretty emotional for her family and i was so surprise she didn't cry. She was really strong while my heart weep quietly. Really miss her lar.

And off she went off on her plane with her bro and bro's gf.

I consistantly check my skype now and then to see when she will be online and when she did, i was so happy!! Manage to skype with her and she showed me around her room. Not that her room is very big, but i got to see what type of room she was living it. I felt it was pretty cosy and comfy.

Anyway, i was playing with my Princeton while talking to her and suddenly she said "hold on ar..." and she suddenly hugged her gigantic monkey!

This monkey that she received as her birthday present! OMG LAR! I ask her how she brought it there.. and she said she stuff it in her luggage. NO WONDER THE TOTAL WEIGHT FOR 3 PERSON WAS 80KG. now i know whyyy...

CANT WAIT FOR YOU TO BE BACK! Study hard and i will try and help you as much as possible from this tiny island!

1st step to CNY

Isn't my Elmo so adorable. CUTIEEE. I purposely stuff tiny bear in his mouth. That's what i always do lar.. and my friend will say i abuse my tiny bear. Lol.

My first step to CNY mood is to change my bedsheet. I almost change till my eyes went cock cause it was too much of a "pattern". I normally have cute flowers or heartshapes. And my colors are normally very vibrant - such as pink, red, purple (something very close to my wall and bed frame color lar). But this time round, i went for REPEATED PATTERNS. Geessssss... GIDDY!

This is it. Purple checkered for bedsheet and blue squares for comforter. Look so nice and neat hor? But this is not really my bed..........

TA-DA! This is my bed after i move in my soft toys!! Yes, i only sleep 3/4 of my bed. I leave the other quarter for my toys.

I'm having a pretty emotional week. Emotional unstable with all the dreams i'm having. Every night i have one and i always wake up finding myself "talking" to myself. Like i can hear myself saying what i said in the dreams. I am not sure if this is what they call "stress".

I have multi projects going to be dued. I suddenly have so many things happening on the 20th Feb. Ethan's 1yr old, JianMing's 21st and my Grandma's birthday PLUS one of my essay's gonna be due on the very same day.

On the 15th, sweetie pie will be leaving for Australia. I am going to write in another post prolly on the day that she left so she can read it there.. But now, i am feeling emotional and i don't really want to talk about how i feel about her leaving here. Can't imagine when i can't find her as and when i want to. =(

I had another set of dreams that set me thinking about someone. With recent events that happened, my faith is losing. The sense of urgency is not there and i am not sure if it would change. Do women always feel this way............ emotionally wrecked? Or maybe i am hoping to get more attention. or maybe to feel more special. or maybe just prove something to me.

Valentine's day and Chinese New Year is coming...... everything doesn't seem sweet.

LOL! We could easily bet on "is it twister or curly".... Anyway, doesn't make a diff lar. We ended up at Mcdonalds the next day! And thanks R for accompanying me last Friday to have it again. We didn't manage to finish all because i was not feeling well so i da-bao back and had it for supper along with my da-bao nuggets! =D

On the other hand, i received the RMITSC call today and i have arranged to have the interview this Friday. Having cold feet now! What if i can't make it.....? The ambassador failed interview really cause a phobia for me. BUT NEHMIND! I MADE IT FOR THE OIAP INTERVIEW AND I SHALL TRY MY BEST NOW! *Good Luck*

Let's kill all projects

RMIT's pace is like a POLY TIMES 2 pace. Real fast and a month is going to pass just like that. And in another month time, i have 3 projects to hand in! HOW FAST?! Thus i held back my idea of going to find a PT job. So crappy lar... No income, no allowance.

I wonder when my mum will start giving me allowance again. Can't wait esp when i eat both meals outside and i spend my money on buying textbooks and printing notes because my bro says the printer at home is too expensive to print just notes. -.-

Lectures been great. Sitting with Qt and R. And as the weeks pass, somehow we started sitting closer to our OG mates and now we pretty much sit together and talk projects together. Amazing!

Our second home shall be NLB. And i was so noobish because that day was my FIRST time in NLB! I didn't even know there were tables with sockets for you to plug your laptop and thus i was the only one who didn't bring my laptop. LOL!

Volleyball CCA in SIM seems REAL quiet. I didn't see a notice board of volleyball nor did i see their booth during the CCA exhibition. So now, i do hope i will get into Council.

Today's mood is bad... must be last night's fault. I had a very very bad dream (Cut it short to say) that i was shot in the chest and my friend jumped down the block. Everything happened so logically cause in the dream it was a dejavu happening too. I end up waking up crying in fear. =/
Then i watched LOST and did a little research before going back to sleep and the next thing i knew, i was having another nightmare! This time my whole face was swollen like it had been bitten by tons of mosquitoes! The color of my face was white and raw, and i had no eyebrowns. It was pretty freaky. SIGH~ Now i am feeling so moodless. =(

2009 Christmas photos during my family gathering on the 26th. HAHA! i brought alot of "things" over from 2009 to 2010. =P Christmas is also another day (other than chinese new year) that my family and my mum's side will get together and eat a meal together. 2009 christmas, we didn't cater any food, instead we prepared them! Roasted beef and chicken plus salad and pie made by my cousins..... AWESOME!

Yesterday, i had my iphone replaced because the old one kept hanging on me. The moment i took it back, i restored my backup and called my friend, another problem surfaced! After my friend hung up, my phone's "menu" button totally cannot work. I had to press the top button before i can see the menu again. Thinking that it might just be that one time only, i decided to try again by asking my friends to call me......... CRAP LAR! IT KEPT HAPPENING.

Rainiee accompanied me as i faster walked back to Singtel Comcentre and told the guy my problem. He said i didn't update my software - which i did cause i restored my backup. Then he went on to say cause my backup is already corrupted, so i should reset my phone and sync in one-by-one again.

OK LOR! I went home, i followed his instructions. For the first few calls today it was fine. Then i think when my phone rang for the 5th or 6th time today, THE SAME PROBLEM CAME OUT AGAIN LAR. YOU TELL ME, ANGRY ANOT....... I have not even paste my own screen protector and i am going to continue to use it for a week or 2. Lemme see if it continues to be like this.

Anyway, i think i not fated with this phone. School started today and till now, i have dropped it 3 times. -__________-|| I NEVER EVEN DROP ONCE WITH MY PREVIOUS IPHONE LAR. And it's only 24hrs, but i've dropped 3 times.

Talking about school, i realize timetable slack but ALOT OF READING TO DO. I think after i read the textbook, i don't wanna read my storybooks le. Projects are also due so early lor. When the lecturer said WEEK 6, i was thinking "iyah, 1.5 months later." Then he said "Feb 20th". Wah sai! SO FAST?!

The 4 hours break today was spent eating, talking and playing L4D at Bukit Timah with Qiuting, Rainiee & Jason. LOL! Quite fun! Suprisingly, time passed faster than we expected. =)

Dip Dip a new start

A new start at the swimming pool for a little tan. When i took the photo, the sun was really really bright. But apprently, my iphone didn't manage to capture the BRIGHTNESS. So it looks so gloomy. Anyway, stayed at the pool for about 2hours and there were many SINGLE people there tanning too. Surprisingly, all guys. And because my sun-tanning oil was with someone else, i was the only one there baking raw.

Oh yah, my countdown till 2010 was spent cycling rushing back to the bedok jetty from the 7-11 at ECP. WAhhh... cycle for about 45mins to and fro lehs. It was crazy. And the night pass so fast.. Spent it drinking and talking. And when i got home, sun was so good and i wasn't tired. So i got changed and went to the swimming pool.

I feel its a good start, so far! =)

Let the '10 set in

This photo is by far the best photo taken by my Holga BC camera. Some of you may know, i don't really enjoy playing with my Holga. I should have gotten a BBF or a Film DSLR.

Anyway, i wasn't very keen to write a post to sum up my 2009 cause i felt there were tooooo many things happening. I think as we grow older, every year we experience many transitions in our life. Unlike in secondary school, we sum a year of school and wait for the another year of school to come by. And most of the time, our resolutions would be to study harder. Even in Poly days, we make resolutions to study harder, but who ever achieves it? LOL. I'm going to be honest with myself and stop making new year resolutions.

Have been facebooking non-stop (what's new?) until i saw someone posting this "2010 in 23hrs!" Then it suddenly hit my head that its LESS THAN A DAY before i step into a new year. And suddenly, i decided to look back in my 2009 and what i will be facing in 2010.

The beginning of 2009, i had it spent in China. A few days in Beijing, a few days in hangzhou, a few days in nanjing, a few days in zhouzhuang, a few days in yunnan and majority in Shanghai. Only came back to hot little Singapore in the month of March. Love my OIAP days and not forgeting the winter times. Definitely a life changing experience for all the interns.

I think i can write a 5 thousand word essay and still, i can't stop raving on how much fun we all had. different people coming together. non of us were BFFs, except yongcheng and darren. everyday i think about where we went and when we went. i will look back at the photos occasionally and i start to wonder if there will be second time of this experience. Working in pivot and brainstorming events were also fun too! I think i enjoyed working there more than in sushi tei. =)

P/S: i love the last few weeks of my OIAP trip. you know why...

Then i came back and graduated with my diploma. First time wearing the robe, so i had non-stop photoshooting. haha.. Check out my facebook and you will know what i mean.

While waiting to further my studies, i officially quit my 3yrs Part-time waitressing job and made my way into Far East Organization. Started off as a 4mth secretary then i move on to be a 3mth admin assistant. Fruitful experience and had learned alot about the office "world". 7 months total, and i feel "WOW" cause i made it! Really miss my days doing waitressing cause its fun running around and joking with the chief. Plus i get to eat my favourite jap food lehs!

Now that i am jobless, i am looking forward to school reopening. As well as planning to join a new cca.. If i don't get into that cca, then i will consider volleyball again. haha! But i think 7 years of volleyball is kinda enough already. Time for a change. Lastly, i am planning to find a Part time job. INTRO INTRO ok?

I SERIOUSLY APPRECIATED yingxuan's 21st birthday party cause it was the only/maybe the last time that i will see the whole volleyball clique together. We pretty much separated when i left for china and we all had our final year, which led to work and then army for the guys. Sweetie pie will be going to Sydney next year. Or i should say, in another 1 month and 16days.....? =( BOOO.. It sucks. And when she is finally back for good, we are all OFFICIALLY going into the working society.

Other things that happened in 2009 were, my first time in JB... my wild nights out... the endless celebrations... ETC ETC ETC... you know why 2009 is special lar.. A year to remember for me.

So.. you have another 22hours to write about what you feel for 2009. And perhaps what you expect in 2010. I don't like alot of changes, but i am really expecting more fun in 2010!

P/S: I had the best birthday of my life. super loved. you know why... LOL.

Oh my, don't you just love my ELMO?

It's my new toy..! If some of you may know, i have a photo of it on my Facebook, but that picture was taken when i saw the elmo on sale at Suntec Food Fair but i did not buy cause my mum said it was too expensive. And after a few months, i did not see in any shops around.... until i walk into the arcade at Suntec!

It's inside the "kiap kiap" machine. So i and my friend started KIAPING it until we spent about $32 to catch it. PLUS it was with the help of the arcade auntie lor. She see us keep trying and screaming till she help us put the elmo very very close to the hole. LOL. I think it was the thrill that was very very fun lor!

Hug it everywhere and then found a seat for it when we ate Kushinbo for our dinner.

So happy that day lar! I feel abit guilty cause i hug Princeton lesser liao. =p

Updates 2009!

Merry Christmas everyone! I know i have been gone for a month plus and i actually thought of closing this blog down.... BUT! I realize its worth 5 years of memories lehs! Anyway, the above xmas tree is from my grand's house. Every year we will have xmas gathering and we will all stuff our presents underneath.

This tree have been with us for MANY MANY YEARS. And i really mean MANY cause last time the tree was taller than me and now i am taller than it by more than 2 times, i think. haha.As i grow older, it gets taller and skinnier cause the "leaves" always drop off when we move it in and out of the storeroom. And this year, the star is missing! LOL.

This christmas, i had a whole week of celebration, one after another and it feels as though i celebrated TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS. o.O So now i am sitting in my chair blogging because i gave a miss to tonight's night-out. Old liao, cannot take it le. LOL. Got to thank Edwin, Marie and Yingxuan for opening up their house to have the celebrations!

I sewed this xmas socks cause i had a very very christmas-sy mood this year and i happen to see the template of the socks in a magazine, so i went to buy the materials and TA-DA! i made one myself! hehe..

Can hang one ok..... But its with someone else now. LOL. i gave it away eventually.

Anyway, let me update on a few things that you might have missed out in my life!

Successfully enrolled myself into SIM-RMIT and the orientation will happen on monday! Kinda excited to start school with Qiu-jie and Rainiee babe. On the other hand, there will be alot of uncertainties too.

Last friday was my last day of work. Officially not part of Far East Org anymore. Not too bad, survived 7months in total. haha! my new dept boss was really very nice and good, too bad can't continue there. Anyway, that makes me job-less now and extra careful with my cashflow. Eh, anyone got extra job lobangs now?! Share lehs.. hehe.

Ever since i started working, i simply love the idea of Post-Its. And i had imagine working in Post-It company for them. Imagine myself flooded with so many many many colored Post-It! tsk tsk.

Anyway, this is how my desktop look like. And i was a little bored that day so i decided to paste my "Sign Here" post its in this manner so i can easily get them when i need them urgently. LOL.

I actually got quite a number of random photos in my phone. Just that i am always lying in bed and lazy to get up to type. Imagine TYPING TYPING TYPING all day long in the office. Of course when i reach home i just wanna lie in bed and live myself in my tv dramas right?!

On The Red Checkered Mat

Haha.. I can't believe i manage to let so much dust accumulate down here! I don't know what has gotten into me. But i've been feeling really sleepy recently. I can skip my dinner and just sleep from 8pm to 6am the next day. =/

Anyway, decided to blog about the picnic day i had with the volleyball clique. Actually, it was a very small clique and a last minute picnic. Idea coming from me because i wanted to go to the beach and have a relaxing afternoon!

Skyped with Yingxuan and Ben on Thursday night and on Friday we stayed over at Yingxuan's place to prepare and on Saturday we headed for the beach!

Met Yingxuan on Friday at the 24hr NTUC to buy the ingredients. Can't give a miss to the chips! And coincidentally, we were wearing the same jersey! Cheers!

Regina brought her Mr.Patrick to Yingxuan's house and we were fooling around with it.. It's actually really quite cute..

And as you can see, the girls were camwhoring while our hardworking guys were preparing the food. LOL. We sliced the ingredients and cooked the Japanese rice.

We started picnic-ing but we were kinda full because of all the pre-eating while preparing! LOL. So..... we ended up playing more volleyball. And at one point of time, a very very HUGE dark cloud passed by and we thought it was really going to rain heavily and alot of people left while some (including us) saw a huge tent being set up, decided to go over to seek shelter. BUDDEN.... it didn't rain. -.- It was just passing cloud. So we ended up picnic-ing under the shelter and we chatted while i accidentally fell asleep.

Secret Gathering Part II

I am pretty sure i am very very late in updating this photos. But its the weekend again and i think its time to blog once again!

During my birthday week, i had a meetup with Qiuting and Yvonne near my workplace to have some cheap food. So we had dinner at the nearby market and then we headed to Starbucks for some coffee. The ladies bought me a strawberry yogurt and the top layer that you see is the yogurt unmixed. It tasted real gross without mix.

We rant non-stop and figured that as we grow older, our topics really change. From ranting about school to ranting about work. And when we left, we said "eh.. got to go home liao. tomorrow still got work. Sian." LOL. Remember how we used to say "eh... got to go home liao. tomorrow still got 9am lecture."

I am really looking forward to schooling with Qiuting! Yvonne, come sign up same school too lehs!

I chanced upon Moomedia on Facebook as i viewed one of their videos called "10 years in 6mins - Wedding Narrative". omg, i love the concept. And if i have such a great story to tell, i will always have a story video of my own on my wedding day. I mean, when people attend a wedding, they want to know more than yourself in that gown. They might want to know how you 2 got together, how long you 2 have been dating and what were the special moments you shared, or even how he proposed!

Moomedia have this album called "A photo a day!" and as i clicked through, my mouth was left hanging there. He's photos are captivating and it made me had the urge to just get married so as to engage him as my photographer! Hahaha.. Run away in that white gown and relive the numerous moments in various locations. Every photo was fantastic and i decided to post a few here to show you guys.

I like long veils and long gowns.

But i know wedding isn't just registering, wearing the gown and having a dinner. It needs the right guy and right feeling to make the whole things perfect. Although in life, there is no perfect wedding. So i will rather spend more money on my honeymoon, home decor and photo-takings. Afterall, photos are the only way to capture the beauty of the gown, the beauty of the couple and the passion in your eyes. :)

Flowers & Strawberry

On the exact date of my birthday, i had to work because it fell on a Wednesday which i think its pointless to take leave that day and still dread going back to work on Thursday. Anyway, i reached the office and saw a gigantic strawberry chair on my table and a bear with folded flowers. With it lies 2 cards, which was not signed with any name. Haha.. after sitting down there to think, i concluded it was from my colleagues. They knew i like strawberries.

A few days later, my boss treated the whole dept for my birthday celebration!

Prior to my birthday, i had a great meetup with my sisters, D.A.N. We had korean food at Chinatown and i must say, we ate alot! Afterwhich, we still had dessert in one of the tangshui stall.

When D.A.M.N meets, we have countless of topics and N always disturbs D, while A and myself will just watch the show from aside.

Anyway, yesterday was D's birthday.. happy birthday bitch.

The broken heels

The most sibei sway thing that had happened to me yesterday at JE MRT. I swear my mind turned blank and i panicked.

My heels broke lar! And its a brand new pair of heels that i walked from home to the main road, hailed a cab, then walk from the back of JE till the popular bookshop before it SNAPPED and the entire heel came off. MAX PAISEH.

Anyway, called my hero and he came down from the platform to save me. Giving me 2 options, he suggested either going home and changing a new pair of shoes OR he will go over to JE entertainment side to buy a new pair. Desperately knowing that i don't wanna walk another step around and let people spot me in this situation, i went for the second option. My hero quickly rushed over and selected a new pair of heels for me. And he had to take into consideration the outfit i was wearing and the comfort level! lol.. which guy would do that for me sia! >.<

The shoes turn out to fit me pretty well except a little loose cause the back of my heels is too skinny for the strap to hold on to my feet. Nevertheless, i had the best night ever. From the rescue till the candlelight dinner.

Those Were The Days

Finally in such a long long time..... i finally see Benjamin and Benedick. I normally see benjamin during beach times and benedick during..... er, lets just say, when we are having fun. haha.. Both Bens are fun to be with.

This meetup for Benjamin's 20th birthday was pretty last min and it happened to be on Wednesday (not weekends) because Benjamin POP-ed. Cheers! I think he had grown thinner. =/

Anyway, dinner at Fish and Co. Ion. Endless topic to chat about and i really miss those days.

Overwhelmed with flashbacks, i decided to create a list named "I miss the olden days".
1. 10 people squeezing in yx's car.
2. US finding seats and joining tables in KAP.
3. All of US trying to form teams to play in volleyball court.
4. All of US clashing yingxuan's place during weekends for soccer and mahjong.
5. All of US staying over at yingxuan's place just for next day's beach games.
6. All of US celebrating a festive season, think xmas 2007 was fun!
7. Hope to have a night to relive and update 14 July 2007! Maybe this time round 2 bottles of vodka. haha! nah, jk!
8. All of US talking about prison break and countless dramas.
9. All of US meeting up at canteen 2.
10. All of US having lots of fun in camps, playing snapjack, murderer and idunnowhat.
11. All of us eating noodles and junk food at yingxuan's place!
12. Making our jerseys, celebrating our victory and having sushi tei.

What else are there.....? can't remember more. But i think the last-most-complete-gathering was on benedick's 21st birthday by the pool. I hope things won't fade when it's next year. I hope my 21st will have everyone around (yes, one of my greatest wish.) =D

The photo above really reminds me of everything. And hope the volleyballers who are reading will feel the same too. Though years passed and we have "members" going in and out. But our topics never ran out. Hope everybody remembers each and everyone.

Bridge Time

Been missing, been gone from blogsphere. But here i am, with photos from my catching up sessions and birthday celebrations.

Met up with Yingxuan, Si Chyi and Yuting on a sunday and we caught SCANDAL MAKERS at Cine. Didn't exactly know what the show was about, but decided to give it a try and i must say it is good and funny. Love the little boy inside.

Yingxuan taught us how to play bridge because we had alot of time to spare before dinner. so we sat down in Orchard Central learning and figuring out how to play bridge. kinda addictive.

Found this Le Le Pot steamboat buffet from Hungrygowhere.com. You should try the Laksa soup base cause it is really nice and unique! This place is a good discovery!

Noodle Days

Shanghai peeps! Remember those days when we eat noodles and have our forks stuck this way?

I was in the office alone this afternoon. Decided to eat cup noodles instead of going down into the lunch crowd. Felt restless the whole day lo.

Anyway, after i poured the water. I saw the fork that was provided by 7-11. Suddenly remembered the days in Shanghai where i spammed alot of their dry noodles during winter because they are really nice and easy to prepare! I love their dry cup noodles packaging. Seriously, mess-free.

Their bowl will always have a marking at the opening for you to poke your fork through. Afterwhich the seal will be "locked" by the fork and you can just wait to eat. I was really fascinated by this idea because there are times when you put the fork on top and the seal just keeps rolling up? These saves it. Now you learn something yea?

P/S: I wish to find those square cup noodles which are dry flavoured. Not mee goreng but the onion oil or bean paste flavours! YUM YUM.

Sync Mr.Iphone 3Gs

Urber Happy, super happy! After a month of waiting, i finally got my hands on Iphone 3Gs. Singtel was kind enough to provide delivery service and i had them sent to my office on Friday! Immediately sync all the nice games and good music into the iphone and now i am so addicted to the game - Fish Tycoon. LOL.

I think alot of people know i got my iphone liao cause i spammed on facebook and twitter. hehe.. LOVE LOVE.

DA VINCI EXHIBIT @ science centre

He is a real genius - from drawing to inventions to music - he is one hell of a smart ass.

Caught it on the last day of the exhibition and with no regrets - though ticketing price was a a little expensive but nonetheless, it attracted alot of people to visit the exhibit. Got to read about the Facts of Mona Lisa, The Last Supper and the Golden Proportion of Human.

It was so interesting to find out that The Last Supper was painted on the wall above the door. That's why the bottom of the painting, which is also the bottom of the table in the drawing, has a curve. Because it is a door.

And then people with the golden proportion will look prettier. The videos i watched there made me finally understand what this picture means!

Anyway, go google it! Its really interesting.

Preview Screening: The Proposal

Won, collected and watched The Proposal!

Knocked off exactly at 630pm and quickly ran to the MRT station to take a train down to Shaw Towers. The movie starts at 715pm and the collection of tickets ends at 710pm. On top of all this, i had to go against the knock off crowd!

Although it was free seating and i was the last few to enter, but thank God the cinema was small, about 100pax. so i still manage to get a seat at the last row, yet i don't feel too far away from the screen.

I was very impressed with the show and i think you readers should catch it! Its out in the cinema already and i seriously think Ryan Reynolds is SOoooooo cute. haha.. And the storyline kinda reminds me of the Taiwan Drama - Ming Zhong Zhu Ding Wo Ai Ni (Fated to love).

It's amazing how the whole cinema laugh together and at the same time, not being afraid for being too loud. Which was so nice and family-like-feeling. I hope to have more movies with Nuffnang!

Shall not say much about the show cause i don't wanna spoil such a good show.

Off To Changi

Had a make up date with Wei Long on National Day Eve because i didn't manage to turn up on his birthday celebration. And i also wanna catch him before he enters his life as a pilot.

Drove down to Changi Airport to pick his ex-colleague (Wendy) and then off we went to a very nice chill-out place beside Changi Museum for dinner. Hehe.. don't know whats the name. But the food is actually quite nice. =)

He was obviously trying to act shy! LOL.

Realizing that there is nothing much more to do, we decided to catch the night view at Marina Barrage. These is why i like to have a car! - you can go wherever you wanna go. =)

We had a fun time disturbing weilong.

Cabana Sunrise Terrace

Did showflat duty last saturday at Cabana Sunrise Terrace. Its a clustered terrace somewhere in Yio Chu Kang and its totally lovely. Apart from the location, everything else seems fine to me. Yet on sat, there were so little walk-ins. Was it the rain?

Let me show you a few pretty photos i got from the web.

Clustered means all terrace built together sharing common facilities. Somewhat like Condominium concept but terrace housing. Seriously, i don't mind sharing lar cause if i buy the unit beside the pool, it will be just outside my balcony!

This terrace house has a basement that consist of 2 parking lot of your own, guest room, toilet and another room that i think its used for drying your clothes. Ye know, heater room or something? Totally no need to fight for the sun. And then it is 3 storey high plus a rooftop!! MELTS! Rooftop jacuzzi sounds good, right?

Iyah.. say so much also no money to buy. Only can dream and drool on it.

Hi everyone! Its been a long time since i last watched a movie with Nuffnang and i am desperately wanting to get another movie chance with them for "The Proposal"! I only wanna win the nice movies, ok?

Love Sandra Bullock ever since she acted in Miss Congeniality 1 & 2. Her movies are always filled with so many laughters and her characters are always the WILD WILD women-type. haha.. somewhat like me - so violent. And again in The Proposal, she portrays as a very always-in-control city girl.

Want to watch this to find out what happens during the process of going into the marriage. Will they really fall in love? What other funny stuffs will happen other than what was shown on the trailers? I wonder what were the conditions led?

Hmmmmmm... If i get the tickets, i will find out already lo!

Thanks to my boss, i manage to get a copy of their dessert menu! Thats so nice of them lar! haha.. i actually felt so pai-seh. But now it is pinned up on my wall! haha..

Since i started working, i have been really lazy to bring out my camera. And its always the case where i end up in a good place and i can't take a photo. And if i can, i can only rely on my lousy phone camera. So following are random photos taken with Isaac when went out to explore food. omg, when i eat with him. i either feel stress or i feel like puking. cause when i am so full.... he will continue to eat and also eat MY portion and looking at the way he eat..... I feel full for him too. End up i feel like puking =/

The first dish was this and we were looking at it and asking "how to eat this uh?!" We resulted in asking the waiter. haha..

Next, we went to this korean bbq restaurant in Orchard Central and they were having this 20% discount plus a "no gst charge" promotion for the month.

Personally i love the food. I think its a really nice combination of meat and LOTS of vege. The meat was really juicy too! But you got to bare with the smokey restaurant.

Guys do the job of mixing and serving ladies. =p

On top of the delicious meal and a bottle of sake, they gave us ^THIS^ for free! omg. its so colorful and nice and useful. But then again, i bu she de use nice nice things one. haha... So it is now left on my table to collect dust. =p

Seriously nice. Seriously good. Seriously handsome looking actors. Love the graphics. Love the storyline. I actually enjoyed this more than Transformers. I mean, they each have their own good. But i like the technology used in this movie.

Kept laughing when i watched the 2 men clad in the silver suit running on the streets. They were so cute, like little robots. haha!

Anyway, go catch it!

Saw Jack & the grp of friends before the movie. Was really shock to see them at such a random place and at a random time. As usual, gossip the same things. haha.. i mean, our topics always revolve around that.

Funny thing was, we were in the cinema too.

Nice seeing them again. Really a bunch of guys that made me laugh!

Dim Sum Buffet with my sisters on 26 July.

Its been a long long time since 4 of us met up. And the reason is always Natalie. Always when we do, she is always sick. I swear. Even if she appears (even this time round) she is ALSO sick. Lemme recall, the last few times she either having her period cramps or diarrhea. And then she have days that she can't wake up or having fever so she won't turn up. And this time round, she haven't recovered from her cough. Eh, sister! Time to eat more vege lar!

This time round, i gave her face. See she birthday girl so i risk my life and ate so many prawny stuff. Haha.. been a long long time since i touch so much prawns. =x Luckily nothing fatal happened.

After very much consideration, we decided to watch a movie. I have fear when watching movie with them cause the last few time it turn out VERY BAD. I dunno how many years ago was it. But i think 3 years? We sisters don't watch movies when we go out. We either eat or shop. So this is something rare.

And we caught "Hang Over" at Marina Square. Not too bad. Had a good laugh. And i love the way they rolled the photos out at the end of the movie. Really crazy way for the brothers to hang out. I wonder will sisters be so crazy anot? Ehhh.. maybe not so dumb lar. But - The tiger in the toilet was funny!

P/S: Could have blogged a proper group photo of the 4 of us but apparently, Natalie did not keep to her promise and didn't send us the photo that was in her camera. So bad!

Cousin Esmond got married about a month ago. He is my mother's side cousin, whom i am not very close with because he is a really quiet type of guy. Surprisingly, he has been dating the wife for a few years already, yet my family hasn't seen her before. haha.. but she looks like a really nice girl. Quiet and sweet too.

If you know me, i don't really like coffee, as compared to Tea. But after being in this office environment for 1 month plus, i have started the coffee culture.

No lah, I don't drink it everyday.

BUT TODAY I DRANK 2 CUPS. and thats not the end, i also drank another Teh Tarik over lunch. I am starting to feel that my teeth is turning yellow............ =/

Anyway, it wasn't as if i was tired. I was actually too busy to doze off. Every day OT to finish the monthly report. Its a good thing, time pass quickly and you realise everyone is saying "bye" to you. It goes to the extend that whatever paperwork can be held, are now all on hold.

Shall be back for more.....!

I have almost all symptoms, from flu to sore throat to cough to muscle ache, BUT just lack the FEVER part. Anyway, i am on Medical Leave today.. Quite a nice time to sleep in, wake up and do a little work. Thank God i brought back my thumbdrive.

Actually, i feel quite bad cause i have to trouble my other colleagues to help my boss set up her presentation because i am not around. And because i am sick, i miss the chance to go Orchard Parksuites and see her present lar! Imagine a room with directors. Wasted! I thought for a very long time before not going to work cause i don't want to be like, coughing the germs all around. Seriously, very long haben cough until so jialat le. Machiam going to cough my throat out!

I was so lazy.. i bought my laptop to the polyclinic, sat there, wait and do my work. Surprisingly, waiting time passed so quickly. But in fact, i was there for 1.5hr. -.- Everyone was coughing and sneezing. And everyone was wearing the mask, including myself.

Beginning i still feel quite fun. Like Darth Vader.. towards the end, it became so HOT under the mask! Imagine lar.. you breath in and out.. hot air circulating within that small area. It starts to get a little hot, and you start coughing and finally you forgot how the "outside" air smells like. REALLY! i then pulled down the mask and took in a deep breathe! Yes, i smell AIR CON. Its better than smelling germies right?

3D: Ice Age III

I didn't catch Ice Age 1 and 2 before but i decided to give this a try in the 3D cinema, wearing that red/blue spectacles.

It was a little uncomfortable at the beginning but got use to it eventually. I think the side of the spectacles were too thick - might be the reason for the discomfort.

The show was funny. But not as funny as Night at the Musuem 1 & 2. The laughing elements for ice age doesn't linger in your mind after the movie thus the joke lifespan is quite short for me.

Overall, i just find the characters cute. Thats all.

Anyway, i know i have been blogging about moviessssss and not my social activities. haha! I still very sociable one ok! I work, go out and also CHECKING OUT my SOON-TO-BE iphone 3GS. *Blinks* hopes to hear *Kachang Kachang* soon. hehe.

Have got so much work to do till i am bring them home. Really don't like the feeling to struggle in the office with the all the paperworks and only have time for my own work in later afternoon. Maybe my working speed is just too slow?? *shrugs*

And after the hard day of work, i don't like to be distub and i don't like to answer questions. Answering so much things in the day has already killed all my braincells. I just want a simple dinner where i listen and get the relevant attentions. Please don't add on to the burden in my mind.

Revenge of the Fallen

Transformers II - Revenge of the Fallen was GOOD!

I always felt the first part where they fought in the city was a little messy but this time round, they brought the robots out to the dessert. I like it when i watch and don't know what the storyline is going about next. Caught in that suspense.

Sat there 2 and a half hour and i didn't felt like i really did cause i was too immerse in the movie.

Go catch it if you haven't.

P/S: i think i am going to rewatch Transformers I. =)

Property Sales Party

Got to attend a company party last night at Heaven's Loft in Orchard Central. I couldn't find their photo but they have Ben & Jerry's ice cream inside and a very nice deck to chill and have a glass of wine.

Anyway, i set foot in Heaven's loft with expected 200 staff and in one glance, i only saw GUYS. Seriously flooded with guys wearing the same pants and white shirt. haha.. They are Property Sales people and this party is hosted to THANK them. Of course they did a good job and brought in tons of sales for the company lar!

Anyway, buffet style.. free flow of red & white wine plus beer and free flow of B&J ice cream. OMG! It was totally a PARTY cause we book the whole place and i was at the deck and it was all people that we know, plus food...... ice cream........ alcohol......... and hunks. =x (you see where i'm going?)

I saw quite a number colleagues who had their different sides. Really surprised me... They were totally mei xin xiang and grooving to the music! LOL.

Left the party when the crowd disperse at 11pm. Manage to take a MRT home and totally felt worn out!

Have been telling myself to work on my blogskin but work's been so hectic! But i do have someone i want to thank so much!! He made this blogskin possible...... and i know he is secretly reading! haha.. Thanks Girard!

Eurasiana - Soundwaves 2009

I got my first time at Esplanade Concert Hall last night. The person who brought me there tricked me twice! First he said i should just dress pretty and go on date at an event. Then when we met, he said we were going for a wedding. I totally freaked out! Then he told me he wanted to check out what shows Esplanade will be showing the next few months so i accompanied him to Esplanade to get the diary. But before i knew it, he led me into a crowded place and he headed to the reception and got 2 tickets. DIAO! Thats when i know i was fooled again. haha!

Ok, but the concert was really good. i love the way how different races instruments come together and play a beautiful music. so amazing lor!! haha.. thank god it wasn't boring and not those fall asleep type. hee.

Nice experience. =)

Btw, in the midst of changing a blogskin. But this time, its something really different. But i can figure the html out. =/

Ghosts of girlfriends past

As the title suggest, i caught this last saturday after a 18hours sleep marathon.. Then i had another 12hours of sleep marathon on saturday night till sunday night before i attended my cousin's wedding dinner at Novetel Hotel.

I was actually looking forward to this show but it wasn't as good as i thought it would be. Abit of a disappointment to me. But the storyline pretty much goes like "5 people you meet in heaven" and some scenes were really funny. Especially the condoms raining down. HAHA!

guys...... how many will yours rain? Hmmm.

This week work will be of a slower pace because the 2 big meetings are held thurs and fri. Boss won't be around and i get to do my stuffs instead of admin work. Thats good, or i will be rushing like mad at the end...

After a week of work and on a friendly wednesday night i met up with the vball co. at bala's place to play taboo and another new game (forgot whats the name but some gold diggers game)... On friday night, i found myself slamming into bed for a 18hours sleep. YEA.. i can really sleep. Was real tired man..

I sat in my boss's SLK yesterday cause we went to the hospital to visit da-jie cause she gave birth to a baby boy on Thursday.. on man, he is such a sweetie. He kept smiling and was so quiet. he had dimples too.. so sweet.

However, it will be still some way to go before any family exclusion order is issued. These 14 families have to submit a formal application to the council, go through a hearing session chaired by a NCPG member before such orders are issued.
These orders are part of the social safeguards to ensure that the casinos opening do not lead to more gambling problems.
To apply for a family exclusion order, you have to go in person to the Tanjong Pagar Family Service Centre located at #03-06 Central Plaza, 298 Tiong Bahru Road.

Some of you might not know where i'm working right?
Lemme see, some organisation that really has a big reputation. And the boss up there is a millionaire in singapore which i haven met him or his son before.. but they are old lar.

Anyway, started work on monday. Very nice ENVIRONMENT (i emphasize only environment) to work with and my colleagues are real nice. Though i hope for some young handsome guy walking around for me to go gaga, but unfortunely there isn't.

I hate standing all the way to work and have my feet plastered. Thank god the shoe kinda expanded already, so its now the height thats killing my soles. My boss and colleague (Lets name her Cheeky in future ok?) speaks branded, efficiency and initiative. Cheeky cause i think she's very fun and always smiling being cheeky about stuff yet shes pretty.. Lets name the lady i am taking over as da-jie because she is the same age as my sis, she reminds me of her cause the way they speak and of course she looks after me. Btw, da-jie is going on maternaty leave so that means next monday i'm all alone already.

My job scope is pretty small but i have lots of things to do and learn this week. I am feeling the stress because monday i have alot of things to do and i am still not use to it. I am always afraid i will miss out on something, be it To-Do-List or "Powerpoint slides information".... Arghs. I do simple ppt and excel files yet i have to be careful cause i deal with figures. I have to check my email every 10mins or so and follow up and file them to folders in outlook. Worst still, i have to file MINE and HERs cos they will CC both of us. Things are pretty to handle this week, but i am not sure about next week. Currently i am already starting to note down the things i have to do. I hope i don't screw things up and get screwed. =/

On saturday, i did something extra out of my job scope. I went to help and earn extra cash by going to a launch of our showroom. Very nice experience although abit boring but i saw RICH people and a few good looking man.. anyway, its just a 4hours shift. Cheeky was there to accompany me too.

Anyway, shall enroll RMIT soon.

After 5 days of constant learning or maybe after a day of painful soles, i really don't like the idea of having to argue with someone. I know i have a choice to not argue but yet, when someone is special, you want to explain things. So anyway, its a friday night. I am tired from work. After hearing the news, i become even more sian diao. Took the effort to WANT TO make up for what i will be losing but yet i have to spend a half hr argueing on an issue that has already happened alot of times. ARGHS, can you feel me? Its the agony. I REALLY could have gone home.

Caught this at the stroke of midnight at vivo city and i walked out of the cinema half alive. Caught up with Isaac, Choon Wee and the clique for some catch up and they decided to watch a movie. It was suppose to be the "Blood Vampires" but the seats were selling fast and the last alternative was this.

Gosh, i spent most of my energy covering my ears, shutting my mouth and leaving only one of my eyes open. haha.. I am no longer good at watching horror films. Isaac kept saying this is a good show and i do agree to a little extend (disagree cause i came out half dead) because the suspense was built at a really unfriendly pace.. Not too good for a weak heart like mine.

Ye know, at the beginning of the show i told Isaac "i think starting not scary one lar.." as i continued to munch on my nachos, bloody hell....... the scare begins. -.- I tell you, the whole show didn't show any mercy in leaving you un-scared.

She is a really unfriendly ah-ma. And after watching this show, you better be nice to old people.. =/

This ah-ma here did a great deal of scaring me. HAHA, i spilled out the left over nachos on Mr.Isaac's shirt cause he was holding on to it and as the movie scared me, i jerked so fast and so hard that my leg kicked him. HAHAHA... seriously, "not my fault". LOL.

Anyway, this movie had some parts that had me laughing cause it was so lame.. Some gross stuff they did was too O-V-E-R, e.g. the girl had a nose bleed which led to her SPRAYING blood from her nose onto her boss. Then there was a part where the girl is fighting with the ah-ma and she bitch at the ah-ma like some little girl who had won her round in a PS2 game. And there were a few more parts that i think it was really lame but i don't wish to mention anymore.

At the end, the ending was unexpected. So thats something nice that i like.

Friends who have known me through the years would know that i LOVE sushi tei and i WORK there. Nope, i don't get bored looking at the food instead i would love to have them everytime. HEE.

Three (super duper long donkey) years have pass and its time to move on and find a new meaning in life. I had made many "goodbyes" as i spent my years growing up in there and i saw many of the chiefs transferring to other outlets and then back here again.. Its amazing how i had stayed for 3 years and if i had gotten into a local uni, i think i'm prepared to receive the long-service award (5 years) before i even graduate. But that's not the case now. So its my turn to say "goodbye" now. The lovely name tag followed me through without losing its way. (i feel thats something to be proud of, considering so many of us - part-timers always losing our name tags)

Caught them by surprise when i suddenly said "today is my last day". HAHA. my manager didn't know cause i only told my assistant manager and apparently she didn't mention. my manager even said "她舍得让你走meh?" Ehhh.. i don't think she have a choice after i have told her that i signed the contract.

Some of them got my numbers and emails and i do hope that we can be kept in touch.

Interview went out well and i got a call a few days later that i am hired. Yeaps! Congrats!

Signed the contract yesterday and will be starting work next week. This job will go on till October and i hope i will stay in it, considering the working hours are unusually longer, transport there is alittle pain in the ass from my house and the attire to be worn is kinda a killer. Yea, so the job better be interesting and have me learning something. Afterall, i am like an assistant to the assistant director in the department...

So if you happen to see me NOT in t-shirt and jeans or slipper, it means i am either on the way to work or have just finished work.

ANYWAY, at the end of the day.. its for the seek of MONEY... $,$

Caught night at the museum 2 last thursday and i must say that it is not as nice as the first part. The jokes were very verbal and i think too "cold". Prefer the first part where actions do most of its laughter. Anyway, its still worth a catch.

On Saturday, i made my first visit to wild wild wet after 19 years of living. It was a free entry because i had the family day tickets, so it was a really chill-lex day. Love the Foam Area they had. HAHA.. you know those foam parties zouk has? Yea, there i was playing around it. Then i took one of the crazy rides that requires 2 person to sit in the float and it slides down from a very very high end and goes a U-Shape.

Headed down to the OIAP gathering after that.....

The long awaited gathering for the OIAP since we came back was arranged last saturday at Sheryl's house. Thanks to the hard work of Qiuting and Sheryl, the bbq was possible. I only helped a little as i was really busy (that explains why i'm missing from the bloggersphere) Anyway, there were alot of left over food at the end of the day. And almost everyone got thrown down the swimming pool, sheryl clocking in the most number of times. haha!

More calls on the available jobs but so far no interviews. Been feeling really tired, physically and mentally, to the point that i can't be bothered with things anymore.

Went to the Sentosa on saturday and had a heavy big breakfast from McDonalds. Proceeding in to the breach and the sand was so hot! It kinda cooked a little of the sole of my feet. but i'm not a red lobster now cos there was a bit of spf on my shoulders as i applied suntanning oil.

Gave a miss to the secondary school gathering cause i felt really tired already and then went to get ben's present at vivo city.

It was a really hard saturday night to pass and it pulled my mood down on sunday at ben's birthday pool party. Anyway, will note about it with photos when i am in a better mood. Don't ask if i am alright, because i am not. And i am someone who have days that are down and troubled. i mean, who doesn't have issues right?

Right now, i just need a break and lie in bed.

Ku-ku lar. Her cousin went over to Shanghai and took a photo with the Shao Kao. Now i miss it darn alot. And then qiuting mentions the Yong Tou Fu that till now, i still love the vinegar to the max.

Regretted clicking on her blog because i am so hungry now and nothing can satisfy my mouth cause shao kao and yong tou fu goes best together!

On a lighter note: i spent my past 2 days sending out resumes (countless till i lost count) and its so nice to hear 2 phone calls today. Pretty much looking forward to be selected to work in the Far East Organisation. Sounds like a fun and challenging job.

Meanwhile, tml is another phone calling day to hog the SIM private unis.

even though we sat at the second row from the front despite going there early to get the 1025pm tickets at 9pm.

Caught it with Jack and Rainiee on Saturday night at Plaza Sing.. For a moment i almost killed Jack.

I met up with him at 9pm Plaza Sing. Initial plan was to go Cathay to catch the 1010 movie because i feel Cathay is better in town, esp the Grand Cathay. ANYWAY, we walked over and when we were about to buy the tickets, he said he forgot to bring this NTUC card that allows us to have $8 tickets. But he remembered that he also have his SAFRA card, so he said $8 tickets at GV plaza sing.

So i was greedy on the $8 deal, i told him that we head down to Plaza Sing and watch instead. As he bought the tickets, i called Rainiee. While asking Rainiee where she was, the GV counter told Jack that his SAFRA card has expired in MARCH 2009 -_____-|| Bo bian lor, no good deal, also lazy to walk back liao. So i signaled him to go ahead and buy.

Went down to Xin Wang Cafe to have a munch and wait for Rainiee. So tick-tock tick-tock... time to get out ass into the cinema. Told Jack to take out the tickets and check which cinema room we were in, to my BIGGEST SHOCK, HE ONLY HELD 2 TICKETS. My jaw dropped lar! There was a very long queue at the counter and it was already 1030. He went ahead to the closed counter and seek for help. Turn out he did not check the number of tickets and the change he was given (he gave a $50 note) and he still blame the counter person because he insisted he said THREE TICKETS.

So from the 5th row from the back, we changed to the second row from the front! -.-"

But the movie was good! Good actor with a "not-so-complicated" storyline. Definitely not for Trekkies cause i don't remember any storyline that i have watched on Star Trek when i was young. haha! I do have to admit that the eyebrows that made was so cute lar. haha! And that hair of Spock..... hilarious. Hope it won't start a trend. =x

Angels and Demon

I bought this book for 10 bucks about 2 years ago from a second hand bookstore and was hoping to finish reading it. And now as i dig it out of my cupboard, i find a bookmark at page 127. LOL. thats only like 1/4 of the book read. The pages have turned yellow and thank goodness there are no silverfishes found. =/

So point is, i caught the movie on the 14th of May at Jurong Point. OMG! i love the ending. Though the starting sent me confused (because of the ancient facts and history of popes and churches) but i kept guessing who is the person in the end and there was a twist to it. Thank God i didn't read finish the book or else there won't be a suspense there.

Anyway, i don't mind re-reading the book now. That is if i finish reading my "Last Lecture" and my "tangled up in you".

Yes, i am a bookworm that secretly wishes to have a shelve filled with MANY MANY storybooks and love floating around secondhand bookstores but not libraries. HEE.
